Train: The nearest railway station is Shornur and Ottapalam(30 KM). The other two major railway stations are Palakkad and Thrissure.(45 and 40 KM respectively).

Air: The nearest airport is Nedumbassery airport(Eranakulam - 90 K.M.) Coimbatore(100 K.M) and Karippoor airport (Kozhikode - 140 K.M.) are the other two airports near to Puthucode.
